Will Tiger Woods Be as Lucky as David Duchovny?

(MYFOX NATIONAL) – Only time will tell if Tiger Woods will be as lucky as "Californication" actor David Duchovny, who was taken back by his wife, actress Tea Leoni, last year after his rehabilitation from his sex addition.

When the golfer's alleged affairs became public late last year, it looked like his marriage to Swedish former model Elin Nordegren could be over.

After spending the holidays apart and Woods reportedly working on his recovery from sex addiction in the New Year, according to the Chicago Sun Times , the couple could be trying to work things out.

When the golf icon -- who is taking a break from the sport for at least the first part of the year -- is finished his sex-rehab at the Pine Grove institute in Hattiesburg, Miss., he plans to take his wife on a second honeymoon.

The New York Post reports that a secluded cruise through the Caribbean on Woods' yacht, Privacy, is the proposed vacation. The boat was docked at a Florida port and was just stocked with food and supplies this week.

And a source told the Times: "Tiger believes this will be the best way for he and Elin to really reconnect, attempt to save their marriage and get on with their lives."

According to RadarOnline.com , while Nordegren still isn't wearing her wedding band, she has canceled her divorce lawyers.

Likewise, the Post reports that Nordegren recently spent five days visiting her husband at the Mississippi rehab clinic.

As for Duchovny and Leoni, the pair was canoodling on the Golden Globes red carpet recently when Duchovny told OK! magazine : "She's a great partner and wife and mother ... Everything's great, thanks for asking."

And other self-confessed former sex addicts, including Michael Douglas, Russell Brand and Rob Lowe, have gone on to healthy relationships, reports the TorontoSun.com .
