TMZ: Heene Family Pitching Reality Show

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Questions remain over whether the Heene family's balloon ordeal was a publicity stunt. But is the family now shopping television networks for a possible reality show?

TMZ reports that a source said the Heene family is pitching networks "all over town." Richard Heene has reportedly pitched a series to TLC, Reality Real and RDF Productions. RDF is the company that produces "Wife Swap," the ABC show on which the Heenes appeared twice last year.

A TLC official told TMZ that the Heenes presented a reality show idea to the network "months ago," but the network passed.

In interviews following the balloon incident, the Heene family has repeatedly denied that they had carried out a hoax . Richard Heene said Friday that any suggestion of such a thing was "extremely pathetic."
