Eugene - Project Homeless Connect took over the Lane county Fair grounds on Thursday, putting more than 80 service agencies all under one roof. Fourteen hundred people use the services, including Falica Downard and her mother. “It means a lot, because me and mom don’t get out a lot together, and spend time together, and this is definitely something that we both can do, and have fun with it, and be together,” Falica explains. There is an estimate of four thousand homeless people in Lane County.
