Missing Hiker

Colubia River Gorge - It’s been nearly a week, since anyone has seen or heard from the hiker missing in the Columbia River Gorge. More people came to look for Kathrine Heuther on Wednesday, but there is still no sign of her. Heuther went to what was supposed to be a short hike last Thursday afternoon. Wednesday the rescue team added horseback to get through some of the more difficult terrain they haven’t covered. It’s all getting very frustrating for the searchers. “I would’ve thought we would have located her before now, so we are evidently not coming across her, and we don’t know why we aren’t coming across her at this point,” Dave Cox explains. Detectives are still looking into reports of a man exposing himself to another hiker, shortly before Kate went hiking, a credit card receipt of Kate’s, that was found on the trail, but are still not suspecting any foul play.
