Fans Vent Frustration On Internet

Natasha Chughtai

Eugene - The ducks are all a buzz on the internet, on sites like Twitter and Facebook, are overflowing with chatter about the football team. Some fans are using Cyberspace as a place to vent their frustrations, creating Facebook groups criticizing the players. One person even created a rap, calling Jeremiah Masoli a trader. Some folks are playing off the success of the song “I Love My Ducks”, with their own shirts, except the shirts say “I Love My Thugs.” “We came up with the idea once everybody started getting into trouble. Couple arrested, a couple kicked off the team, so we are trying to make alight of the whole situation,” Kurt Vonderehe explains. Vonderehe says they have sold about 25 hundred tees and sweatshirts.
