McCain: Joe the Plumber is a 'Dumbass'

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - John McCain's daughter, Meghan, has proved that she isn't afraid to speak her mind and even attack the views of certain Republicans. Now she has a new victim -- Joe the Plumber.

In a new interview published on Out.com , McCain makes it clear that she believes people can be both Republican and supporters of gay marriage. When told that Samuel Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, recently called gays "queers" and said "I wouldn't have them anywhere near my children," McCain responded, "Joe the Plumber -- you can quote me -- is a dumbass. He should stick to plumbing."

McCain received attention earlier this year when she took on conservative pundit Ann Coulter, calling her a "train wreck." In a post on the Daily Beast , McCain blamed Republicans like Coulter for being extreme and turning younger generations away from the party. 'Everything about her is extreme: her voice, her interview tactics, and especially the public statements she makes about liberals," she wrote.

McCain also branded Karl Rove a "Twitter creep," calling his posts "boring." "Sometimes he takes questions; other times he talks about his appearances on cable news and other shows. But he doesn’t say anything substantive," McCain wrote on the Daily Beast .
