RESPONSIBLE TO: Creative Services Director

DESCRIPTION/DUTIES: KLSR-TV/KEVU-TV has an opening for a full time Promotion-Web Coordinator and Production Assistant. This person will be an integral part of planning, development, creation and execution of on-going promotional / added-value campaigns to effectively advertise KLSR/KEVU programming. Duties also include providing creative and technical services to clients by writing, filming and editing promos, commercials and Public Service Announcements of various lengths. Communicate with clients to effectively meet their needs and promote a professional image for our stations. Detailed knowledge of field and studio lighting techniques, audio production, camera functions, computer graphics, Multi-Media, linear and non-linear editing, Web maintenance and construction preferred. Candidate must be capable of transporting 50 lbs of television gear to and from field productions. Ability to communicate with station's salespeople and other team members in various departments to effectively meet the needs of our clients, as well as function in a team environment. Organize and maintain all station programming promotions, including VCI database and scheduling management. Other duties as deemed necessary.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years station promotion preferable. Videography and linear/non linear editing experience and a working knowledge of television traffic software a plus. Good written & verbal communication skills necessary.

REQUIREMENTS: A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required. Drug testing is a pre-employment requirement.
