Tim learned television production at his high
school’s PBS station in Sterling, IL and learned how to
repair equipment next door at the vocational school, as well as run
camera at sporting events for the cable system there. He spent six
years in the Navy and then went into television as an Operator
& Camera Person. After a brief stint actually building
TV’s at a Japanese-American TV-VCR factory, he returned to
Oregon TV as Chief Engineer. Finally, in 1990 he joined the Eugene
FOX station & was instrumental in converting it from a low
power TV station to a powerful 3,000,000-watt signal!
